Assembly/Quality Control Technician (Post-Cleaning)

Job Responsibilities:
Garment Assembly:
- Collect and organize cleaned garments for assembly.
- Ensure proper hanging, folding, and packaging according to company standards.
- Apply tags and labels accurately to each item before final presentation
Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections of garments post-cleaning for any defects, stains, or quality issues.
- Verify that all garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented according to the company’s high standards.
- Document quality concerns and communicate effectively with the cleaning team to address any issues.
Detailing:
- Perform necessary touch-ups or repairs on garments, if applicable (e.g., pressing, steaming, stitching, minor alterations).
- Ensure garments are presented neatly and are free of wrinkles before final customer pick-up.
Customer Preparation:
- Assemble completed orders for pick-up or delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking garments through the assembly process.
- Work Area Maintenance:
- Keep the assembly area clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to safety and health regulations within the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in dry cleaning assembly, quality control, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in garment handling.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient in handling various types of garments and cleaning materials safely.
