What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Tice Valley Physical Therapy?
Aspiring physical therapists or like professions (nursing, OT, PA, etc.) preferred.
Education:
- Alumni with a degree in a health care related field preferred OR
- Current students studying in a health care related field preferred.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assist physical therapists with modalities
- Monitor exercise programs
- Manage home exercise programs for each patient
- Office duties such as scheduling patients, answering phones, and new patient intakes
- Laundry duties (washing, folding, and restocking laundry)
- Maintain proper supplies throughout the clinic (refill ultrasound gel bottles, hydrocollator)
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinic (wiping down tables, empty trash, vacuum, clean restrooms, etc.)
