Overview
TIC Security is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Security Assistant II to support physical security operations for a federal government customer. This position plays an important role in supporting identification badge operations, access control administration, visitor management, reporting, and general security administration.

Responsibilities
As an Administrative Security Assistant II, you will:
- Support credential activation and identity management processes
- Issue, update, revoke, and track employee and visitor access badges
- Maintain access control and visitor management databases
- Process badge requests and maintain accurate security records
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports using security systems and Microsoft Excel
- Review badge activity and identify discrepancies or unusual trends
- Assist with key control procedures and security documentation
- Support visitor access procedures
- Maintain security logs and records
- Assist with updates to emergency management and continuity planning documentation
- Review supporting documentation for invoices and maintain budget tracking spreadsheets
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents
- Work closely with government personnel while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree OR six (6) years of general administrative experience
- At least two years of administrative or operational support experience
- Minimum one year of experience using Microsoft Excel to track and manage data
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with physical security operations
- Experience with access control or badge management systems
- Knowledge of visitor management systems
- Experience supporting federal government customers
- Familiarity with security policies and procedures
Work Schedule
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Standard business hours
- Overtime may be required with prior authorization
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
