What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research & Publishing Analyst position at Tiburon Strategic Advisors?
Tiburon is seeking to hire a research & publishing analyst. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver three research & publishing (PowerPoint) projects per day. Research & publishing projects completion includes addressing noted suggestions to PowerPoint documents, conducting interviews, completing directed research assignments, and publishing to the Tiburon website. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and responsive team player who can support current publishing processes. To most easily onboard and allow the research & publishing analyst to benefit from self-learning (critical for the small team), Tiburon will start by engaging the research & publishing analyst in reformating, unbundling, & setting up Tiburon PowerPoint documents. Tiburon would expect to maintain a twelve-month horizon for full deployment in the role and check in monthly (maybe quarterly later) to ensure progress towards the desired role.
Responsibilities:
Research & Publishing:
- Revise, set up, & unbundle Tiburon research (PowerPoint) documents
- Update data to improve research
- Conduct Tiburon member interviews to improve research
- Research defined issues to improve research
Advisory:
- Conduct Tiburon member benefit reviews
Requirements:
- Exceptional research skills
- Analytical mindset
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills (ability to manage oneself in a fast-paced working environment and meet multiple deadlines with limited supervision)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint (intermediate skills required; work primarily in graphics but following existing approved formats)
Compensation:
- Paid $30-$40 per hour (based on experience)
