Talent Acquisition Specialist Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support our organization’s growth. You will leverage innovative sourcing strategies, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure successful placements.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Identify and engage candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, university partnerships, and manufacturing-specific channels such as trade schools, technical programs, and local workforce boards.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hourly and salaried manufacturing hiring needs.
- Craft compelling job postings that reflect role requirements and company culture.
Candidate Experience
- Provide a positive candidate journey from initial contact through onboarding.
- Conduct structured interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills, certifications, experience, and cultural fit for manufacturing roles.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Strategy & Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sourcing methods and improve hiring outcomes.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance recruitment processes.
- Track and report on metrics such as time-to-fill, turnover, and sourcing effectiveness specifically for manufacturing roles.
Employer Branding & Outreach
- Represent Tiara at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives.
- Promote company culture and values through social media and other digital platforms.
- Serve as an ambassador for the employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
- Engage with local manufacturing communities and apprenticeship programs to build a strong talent pipeline.
Compliance & Screening
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and drug testing for hourly and salaried manufacturing candidates.
Onboarding & Transition Coordination
- Support onboarding and orientation of new manufacturing hires to ensure smooth integration into production teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment within manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
- Experience managing Indeed accounts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Paycom) and recruitment technologies.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment and flexible scheduling for multiple shifts.
