What You’ll Do:
- Operate industrial sewing equipment including single straight stitch, double-needle, and serger machines
- Follow sewing instructions and specifications to produce seat covers, cushions, and other marine soft goods
- Read and interpret units of measure and sewing terminology accurately
- Maintain quality standards through proper alignment, stitching, and fabric handling
- Communicate product or material concerns with your team leader to resolve issues quickly
- Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Assist with additional tasks and team support as needed
What It Takes:
- Prior experience with industrial sewing machines is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
- Basic math skills and understanding of measurements
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- A commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous learning
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; industrial sewing education or experience strongly valued
