Installation Manager

TIAG is now hiring an Installation Manger to support our Marine Corp customer. The BACS (Barracks Access Control System) Installation Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation activities across multiple customer sites.

This position provides centralized management of installation schedules, site readiness, logistics, resources, subcontractors, and customer coordination to ensure installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee installation activities across multiple geographically dispersed customer sites, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and adherence to established schedules.
• Develop and maintain integrated installation plans, schedules, milestones, and site-specific execution plans.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination among government housing offices, project leadership, technical teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and installation crews.
• Manage subcontractor performance and coordination, including work assignments, schedules, deliverables, site access, resource requirements, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities across multiple locations to ensure work is properly sequenced and does not create schedule conflicts or site readiness issues.
• Conduct or coordinate site surveys and readiness assessments to validate facilities, infrastructure, power, network, security, equipment, fiber and other installation requirements.
• Track site readiness, dependencies, risks, issues, and required actions through installation completion and customer acceptance.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, staging, inventory, and distribution across multiple installation locations.
• Manage installation personnel and coordinate travel, site access, badging, credentials, onboarding, and other site-specific requirements.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, testing, acceptance, and operational turnover activities with technical teams, subcontractors, and customer representatives. Monitor installation progress against schedule and establish corrective actions when milestones, deliverables, or site requirements are at risk.
• Identify and resolve installation-related conflicts, delays, resource constraints, subcontractor performance issues, and site readiness challenges.
• Conduct regular status meetings and coordination calls with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide leadership with regular reporting on installation progress, schedule, risks, issues, resource requirements, subcontractor performance, and upcoming milestones.
• Maintain installation documentation, site records, schedules, checklists, acceptance documentation, and turnover packages.
• Ensure all installation activities comply with applicable safety, security, technical, quality, and customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain consistent installation processes, standards, and best practices across all sites.
• Capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into subsequent installations.
• Travel to customer locations as required to support installations, conduct site visits, and resolve site-specific issues.

• Experience working multi-site installation, deployment, implementation, or field services programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong project coordination, scheduling, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent installations.
• Experience coordinating government, commercial, or military customer requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Ability to coordinate technical and non-technical personnel across multiple organizations.
• Ability to travel to customer locations for immediate or extended support as required. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting DoD or other federal government customers.
• Experience with site surveys, logistics coordination, equipment deployment, system testing, and operational turnover.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Familiarity with government security, access, logistics, and installation requirements.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
