TIAG is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Technician with specialized experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.

This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% CONUS; opportunity for OCONUS travel

Clearance: Active Secret clearance; TS preferred

This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on servers, clients, switches, signal processors, and displays
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and technical documentation
  • Repair and replace defective components, modules, and wiring
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications per company protocols
  • Maintain accurate records for equipment history, parts inventory, and service schedules
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new electronic security equipment
  • Provide technical assistance to technicians and system operators
  • Stay up to date on technology advancements and industry best practices
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical capabilities
  • Travel to remote sites for field maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Required Experience: 

  • Education: High School diploma or GED. 
  • Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
  • 4 years of hands-on electronics maintenance experience, focusing on Electronic Security Systems (Lenel, Milestone, Bosch, etc.)
  • LenelS2 Core and Advanced Certifications
  • Strong foundation in analog/digital circuitry, RS485, and signal processing
  • Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multimeters)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Experience:

  • Certifications or experience with vendors such as Lenel, Bosch, Milestone, HID, Life Safety Power, Hanwha, Pelco, etc.
  • Proficiency in communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
  • Familiarity with computer-based maintenance systems
  • Soldering and PCB repair experience
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations
