This job leverages marketing technology to drive efficiencies and usage of marketing analytics to assess effectiveness and engagement of marketing strategies and inform future campaigns. Key Responsibilities and Duties Develops and executes an integrated marketing strategy and plan that increases audience understanding and engagement with the organization and its products. Creates and aligns marketing playbooks with sales goals and actions, partnering with Sales & Customer Success upfront throughout the relationship cycle. Partners with Marketing Technology, Marketing Analytics and Operations team to ensure the tools and data are in place to deliver against strategies and plans. Liaises with other senior executives across the organization to ensure that strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall corporate objectives. Approves budget and monitors the cost and effectiveness of operational activities to prioritize spending and resource allocation. The leader is responsible for executing against this strategy within the emerging WM business to drive lead generation and the acquisition and retention of WM clients, as well as ensuring we attract and retain WM Advisors. We are seeking an experienced strategic leader who focuses on client centric, insight-based marketing, with a history of partners closely with WM Advisors to enable them to grow and promote their practices. The leader will have a strong track record within Wealth marketing and the financial industry, leveraging their industry knowledge to build fresh marketing programs with a data-driven, outcome orientation. By combining a skillset grounded in traditional marketing strategy (including research backed value proposition development) with digital first data driven marketing methods (including segmentation and marketing automation / customer journey trigger programs), this individual will aim to create multi-faceted campaigns that generate high-quality leads for the business unit and the WM Advisor team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer with joint positions on her leadership team and the Wealth Management leadership team, this role will motivate and inspire—and have a little fun with--a matrixed team of ~20 marketing and communications professionals, directly overseeing approximately six client marketing professionals. Key Responsibilities Lead and build WM Marketing team responsible for the development of the WM marketing strategy and end-to-end vision (including research-backed value proposition and client segmentation), the building and execution of Go-To-Market briefs and automated triggers, and marketing initiatives that align and drive business goals. Lead and develop the build out strategy for automated client journeys, including use cases to drive lead generation and acquisition, onboarding and the retention efforts during key moments that support and deepen business and client relationship. Drive client insights and research to create relevant and timely content for WM Advisor and client prospect consumption and to guide value proposition and marketing and communication strategies and decisions. Foster an always on insight-based, test and learn, win-as-one team approach. Develop enablement initiatives and programs to power WM Advisor growth and promotion of their practices through lead generation advisor/client relationship deepening. Responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of advisor and client conference / forum events. Responsible for WM marketing roadmap, including the planning and execution of marketing initiatives. Ability to optimize the data and marketing technology capabilities across platforms to enable initiatives and bring new use cases that drive business unit goals and outcomes. Lead and provide tactical marketing support aligned with WM marketing support model in partnership with functional areas of marketing. Collaborates closing with product and business unit partners on new product launches and collateral development that meet business needs Develop and responsible for departmental measurements and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on overall business goals. Responsible for departmental budget, allocation, forecasting and measurable outcomes, results, and ROI. Desired Experience 10 years of marketing experience preferred, 5 years within Wealth Marketing within Financial Service industry. A demonstrated track record in across marketing disciplines (i.e. value proposition, marketing strategy, segmentation, content creation, go-to-market strategies, and marketing automation / triggers). Expertise in marketing strategy and development of scalable frameworks across segments. Track record of successfully implementing Wealth Management Advisor/Financial Advisor enablement programs aimed at growing and promoting advisor practices and deepening client relationships. A strong strategic thinker with the ability to establish an end-to-end vision, identify opportunities and potential risks, build comprehensive strategic marketing solutions-inclusive of competitive landscape, market context and regulatory environment. Strong experience in data skills, automation, triggers and iterative test designs. Ability to synthesize behavior based insights to drive business results. Ability to gain buy-in, influence and present strategies and recommendations across business units and organization. Ability to build trust, credibility and strong relationships with internal/external customers and team members. Demonstrated ability to build teams and lead in a fast paced, cross-functional, changing environment. Proven ability to influence the development of effective creative concepts and marketing strategies. Base Pay Range: $243,800/yr. - $406,300/yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
