\Si buscas probar comida mexicana con un toque de cocina cajún, puede que te encuentres listo para sentarte con un gran menú en el caprichoso restaurante de madera conocido como Tia Juanita's Fish Camp.
La cadena de restaurantes del sureste de Texas comenzó en abril de 2014 en Beaumont y fue inaugurada por el propietario Ricky Martinez. El restaurante recibió su nombre en honor a su tía Juanita, su tía Juanita. Martinez contó a The Enterprise que su tía Juanita estaba casada con un veterano discapacitado de la Segunda Guerra Mundial que fue tiroteado en Francia. Recuerda que su tío pasaba mucho tiempo pescando mientras su tía cocinaba pescado.
La pareja crió a la madre de Martinez en el oeste de Texas, lo que fomentó la estrecha relación que se forjó entre él y su tía y su tío. Martinez nació en Stanford, donde más tarde vivió su tía. Finalmente se mudó al este de Texas antes de mudarse al sureste hace unos 15 años.
