Duties And Requirements Of The Job
Working Conditions: 1. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment with focus on electrical components
- Program and debug PLC controlled equipment on a wide variety of PLC platforms
- Develop program flow charts and state diagrams for automation processes
- Develop and maintain standards related to automation equipment
- Assure conformity of third-party suppliers to TI Automotive equipment standards
- Assist in equipment startup and launch activities at various locations
- Improve efficiencies of existing automated equipment (may require mechanical repair)
- Assist in troubleshooting PLC and automation issues on the manufacturing floor
- Other duties as assigned by Controls or Engineering Manager
