Job Title: Materials Department- Customer Service Representative
Primary Purpose of the Job: To support customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints.
Specific Duties:
• Review O.E.M. requirements and manage shipping schedules daily.
• Maintain electronic data systems & proper setup of files.
• Perform Customer Service representative activities.
• Maintain updated informational and document files.
• Perform maintenance of BPCS and XPert files.
• Responsible for monthly measurables.
• Uphold and update launch/ balance out schedules.
• Responsible for service part transfers.
• Sustain & update all customer materials systems (Ford/ Chrysler/ GM)
• Maintain materials logon SharePoint & update/ create 5 why’s or 8 D’s as needed.
• Manage all returnable containers.
• Must be able to work any shift & be available for on call emergencies
• Achieve all other assigned tasks
Required Training, Knowledge and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or other appropriate degree desirable or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent user of Microsoft Office
• DDL experience (preferred)
• Experience with OEM Shipping Process & EDI Releases (preferred)
• Chrysler Smart system (preferred)
• Covisint/ GM (preferred)
• Customer Service/ Materials work experience (preferred)
• Shipping/ Receiving (preferred)
