Position Summary:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for aligning the organization’s technology strategy with its business goals. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide architecture frameworks that ensure scalability, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of business processes, modern IT systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise-level integration.
Responsibilities of Position:
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, frameworks, and standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and platforms ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Guide solution architects and technical teams on implementation details and best practices.
- Develop roadmaps for application, data, infrastructure, and security architecture.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Ensure architecture documentation is current and well-maintained.
- Manage and mitigate technical debt across the enterprise landscape.
- Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for proposed changes and initiatives.
- Promote architecture governance and ensure adherence to compliance, standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
- Proven track record with enterprise systems, microservices, and API integration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TOGAF or other relevant architecture certification.
- Experience with enterprise service buses (ESBs), middleware, and integration patterns.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture role.
