We are seeking a highly skilled Property Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and exceptional resident and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day to day operations for a designated portfolio of properties
Lead, coach, and support Property Managers, Leasing Teams, and Maintenance Supervisors
Ensure compliance with company policies, state/local regulations, and fair housing laws
Monitor property performance, including occupancy, delinquency, renewals, and NOI targets
Conduct regular site visits to evaluate curb appeal, safety, maintenance, and operational standards
Partner with accounting on budgeting, financial reporting, and monthly/quarterly reviews
Approve and monitor vendor work, bids, contracts, and capital improvement projects
Support leasing strategies, marketing initiatives, and resident retention programs
Resolve escalated resident issues with professionalism and sound judgment
Drive performance through KPIs, accountability, and consistent process execution
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of onsite staff
Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership on portfolio strategy and reporting
Qualifications:3 to 5 years of experience in property management, with multi site or supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
Solid understanding of property operations, maintenance processes, and financial performance
Proficiency in property management software (Appfolio) Huge plus.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property travel
CAM, ARM, CAPS, or similar certifications are a plus
