Logistics Intern

Key Accountabilities:

Participation in thyssenkrupp internship program supporting operations in truckload brokerage and driver safety compliance \ training.

• Learns organizational processes and procedures
• Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records
• Works in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel
• Assembles information in a timely and efficient manner
• Responds to telephone calls and emails
• Collaborates with staff and departments in preparing special projects
• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college. * Project planning skills.
• Entry-level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Must have the ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment is critical.
