Your responsibilities

Job Summary

Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.

We’re Hiring: Machine Operator – 1st Shift

📍 Location: Monroe, OH

💲 Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | Overtime as needed

Are you an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a reliable and safety-minded Machine Operator to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll operate forklifts and cranes, set up and run equipment, and ensure materials are handled and processed accurately according to specifications.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing
• Set up machinery safely and accurately based on work order specs
• Run material according to setup notes and verify quality standards
• Perform and document inspections and measurements
• Maintain and clean assigned equipment
• Handle packaging and labeling per written instructions
• Identify and segregate scrap or non-conforming materials
• Enter/delete material tags using provided systems
• Report issues related to product quality or machine efficiency
• Train new team members as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support lean and quality initiatives across the operation
  
  
  

✅ What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Warehouse and forklift experience required (metal industry preferred)
• Use of handheld measurement tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers)
• Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude
