What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Worker position at Thurlow Farms, Inc.?
Job requires operating, maintaining, and repair of silage harvesting equipment and trucks, changing cutting attachments including headers and kernel processor. Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Employee will assist with loading, unloading, and setting up silage bags and must be able to lift 75lbs. Additionally, the job includes general farm labor including but not limited to: welding, fence building, and sorting/working cattle. Employees will be working with cattle and performing general farm labor only when located at the employer's personal worksite address listed on the itinerary and will strictly custom harvesting activities only at the other locations listed on the itinerary. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
