As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing a high level of enthusiastic, detail-oriented customer service to customers and internal departments across the Thunderbird portfolio.
Customer Service Representative Essential Functions
- Reviews customer orders for feasibility and accuracy.
- Processes customer orders and issues work orders to manufacturing.
- Controls materials and parts inventory to assure items are on hand as needed by manufacturing.
- Responds to customer requests for information regarding order status.
- Prepares Invoices for outgoing shipments.
- Notifies customers of shipments if required by contract.
- Handles majority of communication between Customers, Cost Estimating and Manufacturing.
- Backs up Receptionist as needed.
- Backs up Shipping as needed, preparing Packing Slips and BOL’s.
- Assists with other office administrative duties as needed, to include but not limited to mail, scanning and filing.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned.
- Ability to draft reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and subcontractors.
- Ability to use computer software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
- This position requires you to be onsite daily.
- This position is primarily in an office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing professional presence.
