What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dual Rate Floor Supervisor position at THUNDER VALLEY CASINO?
Position Summary:
In charge of dealers and games in assigned area.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s 5-Star Service Standards at all times.
2. Safeguards assets of the company.
3. Implements departmental policies and procedures as directed by the Shift Manager.
4. Should, at all times, create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness towards guests and dealers.
5. Handles guest’s complaints.
6. Ensures compliance with federal currency reporting requirements.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of Table Games experience required.
• Prior experience in a dual-rate or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in dealing multiple core games offered at Thunder Valley.
Licensing & Compliance
• Must obtain and maintain all required Tribal Gaming licenses and certifications.
• Thorough understanding of Thunder Valley Casino Resort policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong knowledge of game protection and Title 31 requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Advanced knowledge of table games procedures, payouts, and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively transition between dealer and supervisory roles as operational needs dictate.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable.
• Excellent guest service skills with a commitment to delivering a premier resort experience.
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fast-paced gaming environment.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle chips, cards, and gaming equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy casino environment.
Work Schedule
• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business demands.
