What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Soccer Coach / Assistant Coach position at Thunder SC?
Thunder Soccer Club is looking for passionate, energetic, and reliable soccer coaches to join our growing club. We are seeking both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to help develop players in a competitive and positive environment.
Our club focuses on player development, strong mentality, discipline, teamwork, and passion for the game. We want coaches who can motivate players, teach the fundamentals the right way, and help build a strong team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist with team training sessions
- Teach technical skills, tactical concepts, and game understanding
- Create a positive, competitive, and organized training environment
- Support player development and team growth
- Communicate professionally with players, families, and club leadership
- Help during games, tournaments, and club events as needed
Requirements:
- Soccer experience is indispensable
- Must have experience as a soccer coach or player
- Strong understanding of the game
- Ability to work well with children and young athletes
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Passion for player development and team culture
Preferred:
- Experience coaching youth soccer
- Coaching license or certifications are a plus
- Experience working in competitive soccer environments
