Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify hazards, enforce rules, and prevent theft or vandalism
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors, staff, and contractors
- Oversee pool area safety by enforcing rules, supervising swimmers, and providing first aid or CPR if necessary
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
- Conduct loss prevention activities by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or misconduct
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
- Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle disputes calmly and professionally
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and emergency responders
