Position Overview:
As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, you will Perform installation
of various components in Thunder Jet boats while working in a large
manufacturing facility. A variety of installation tasks are performed
building the front, middle and back of each boat using power and
non-power hand tools while working from specifications and schematic
drawings.

Apply high energy, self-motivation, and initiative to learn and be
trained on several types of equipment and processes.
Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
Be able to use hand tools including sanders, measuring tape and tools,
box cutters, adhesive sprayer, buffer.
Prepare boat as needed for next department.
Daily job duties will be varied and dynamic at entry level.
Workload will be tracked via daily schedules and assignments requiring
responsibility and accountability for quality and timeliness of
completion.
Compliance with safety policies and procedures is required, as well as
identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion.
Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift in the paint
area. Lifting and working overhead within prescribed safety limitations.
Working at heights: work platforms; etc. Working inside paint booths in
all weather conditions (extreme heat).
Practice good housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the
unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however,
others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to follow established safety process to handle equipment to
install components for the boats.
Detailed and organized.
Good safety awareness, attitude, and attendance. Self-starter and a team
player.
Ability to listen and learn processes in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Three months experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but
willing to train.
Knowledge of drills, drivers, rivet guns, saws, sanders, and hammers.
Ability in basic math, reading and being able to read a tape measure.
Computer Skills Preferred.
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel,
climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and
move a variety of materials.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 2 \$19.20-\$20.20
hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple
Factors Including Job-related Knowledge/skills, Relevant Experience,
business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near
the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and
the business context.
