As a Bus Attendant, you'll play an important role in helping students travel safely to and from school each day. Working alongside our bus drivers, you'll help create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for every child on board.
What You'll Do
- Help ensure the safe transportation of children to and from school.
- Assist students as they board and exit the bus safely.
- Monitor student safety and behavior during the ride.
- Provide positive guidance and encouragement to students.
- Communicate respectfully with parents, school staff, and TBTA team members when needed.
- Help keep the bus clean and orderly.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
- Follow all TBTA policies and transportation safety regulations.

Requirements

- Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- Successful pre-employment drug screen.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.

This is a Part-Time Irregular position with hours scheduled as needed based on school transportation routes. Shift times vary, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible part-time work.
