We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and driven Special Projects Coordinator to support leadership across multiple departments within our growing food manufacturing organization. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives on execution, organization, problem-solving, and driving projects to completion. The Special Projects Coordinator will work directly with department leaders to help implement initiatives, improve processes, coordinate activities, and ensure important projects move forward efficiently. This is not a traditional administrative assistant role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assignments, adapt quickly, communicate effectively across departments, and help leadership turn ideas into action.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with cross-functional projects throughout the organization.
- Support leadership with implementation of operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Organize project timelines, meetings, action items, and follow-up communication.
- Track project progress and help ensure deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
- Assist with documentation, SOP updates, reporting, and process organization.
- Communicate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and customers as needed.
- Support new product launches, process changes, facility improvements, and system implementations.
- Assist departments with research, data gathering, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Identify roadblocks and proactively help move projects forward. Adapt to changing priorities and provide support where needed across the organization.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in project coordination, operations support, executive support, manufacturing support, or similar roles.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments.
- Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AI platforms, and MRP/ERP systems.
- Comfortable working in both office and plant environments.
