Duties
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations including transportation planning, freight management, and shipping & receiving activities.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, inventory levels, and order fulfillment status.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors through sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on category management, pricing strategies, and procurement initiatives to maximize profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong understanding of logistics operations including transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms such as Odoo.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse experience including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, 3PL providers, demand planning, production planning, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to analyze pricing strategies and supply chain costs for process improvement opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
