About the Role
Throne Solutions is looking for a Field Technician to provide on-site Hands & Feet Support for IT and network infrastructure . This role covers hardware installation, structured cabling, rack and stack work, and troubleshooting support — with a strong focus on safety when working at height.
Required Certifications (Must-Have)
• Authorized Scissor Lift Operator Certification (Aerial Work Platform / Working at Heights) – valid and issued by a recognized US training provider
• CompTIA A (Core 1 & Core 2)
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification (Preferred)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities
• Validate Bill of Materials (BoM) against hardware delivered and document serial numbers
• Staging, unpacking, packing, and shipping of equipment
• Racking, stacking, and cabling (copper & fiber) of network devices
• IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services
• Replace wireless access points on ceilings/walls using scissor lifts/aerial platforms
• Cutover and hypercare support
• Power and cable checks, inter/intra-rack patching, cable labeling and dressing
• Troubleshooting and functionality testing for LAN/WLAN under L2/L3 supervision
• Support and coordinate with external IT vendors on-site
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; IT/networking training a plus
• 1–2 years of hands-on field IT or data center experience
• Comfortable working at heights with ladders and lifts per OSHA standards
• Ability to lift/carry equipment up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the Orlando/Central Florida region
