What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant position at Thrivewell Primary Care and Wellness?
Our Weight Loss and Primary Care clinic is a newly established, fast-growing medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients of all ages. In addition to primary care services, we specialize in Peptide Therapy and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), offering advanced wellness solutions in a personalized, patient-focused environment. We also provide Urgent Care Services that include performing x-rays and EKGs.
We are looking for a versatile and experienced professional to join our team in a hybrid role as Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Verify insurance and handle patient intake documentation
- Assist with patient rooming, taking vital signs, and medical histories
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and manage lab specimen collection
- Support providers during in-office procedures, including Peptide and Hormone Replacement therapies
- Handle appointment scheduling, phone calls, and patient communications
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical and front office environment
- Participate in in-office marketing and patient engagement initiatives (e.g., patient outreach, community outreach, corporate outreach)
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure excellent patient care and workflow efficiency
- Ordering medical and office supplies
- Some Sales as well
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting (required)
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with EMR systems and office technology
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Interest or experience in Peptide Therapy and Hormone Replacement Therapy is a plus
