What You’ll Do
- Provide therapy primarily to children and adolescents
- Conduct parent sessions and support family involvement in treatment
- Address emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns
- Utilize developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions
- Maintain timely documentation and treatment planning in EHR
- Collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians
Requirements
- Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- OR
- Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) or Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI)
- Experience working with children and adolescents (required)
- Strong ability to engage and build rapport with children
- Comfortable working with parents and family dynamics
- Ability to commit to approximately 15 clinical hours per week
- Ability to work at least two in-person day per week in Boca Raton
- Availability for evenings and/or Saturdays (required to meet client demand)
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills
- Comfortable using EHR systems (e.g., SimplePractice) and Google Workspace
- Play therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Family systems
- Trauma-informed care
- DBT-informed or mindfulness-based approaches
- EMDR or interest in trauma work
