Position Description
Location of Position: Reedsburg, WI
Hours: Monday-Friday, in office daily
Salary Range: $60,000-80,000
Benefits: Simple IRA after one year
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll be a resource for our financial advisors and provide support to the clients of Covenant Financial Group, including:
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Enter client information into various systems
- Prepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetings
- Enter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plans
- Deepen and maintain existing client relationships through processing of client requests, resolving client questions, and making sure client information and documentation are up to date
- Research and respond to client inquiries
- Finalize, submit, and track all client account and application paperwork
- Gather and maintain customer suitability information
- Assists Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for client meetings
- Updates and maintains client information in several planning tools, including Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar, and others
- Completes electronic and paper service forms and new business applications
- May fill out and sign Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applications
- May accept and/or enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders
- May sit second chair in meetings to take notes
- May handle all post meeting tasks
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor
Position Qualifications
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable
- Previous financial services experience desired
- Securities (7/66, or 7/63 & 65) and Life, Health, and Annuities registration required
- Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3 years preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
- Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.
- Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial.

External/Internal Dependencies
- Must be able to work with all roles of the Covenant Financial Group.

- Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations.
As part of Covenant Financial Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
