Position Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the Investment process through:
- Trade Support (Trade verification & communication, Cash Reporting, FX)
- Derivatives Support (Variation Margins, Collateral, Settlements)
- Holdings Support (Corporate Actions, Reconciliations)
- Reporting (Positions and Exposures)
- Investment Strategy Support (Product Changes and Strategy Changes)
- Knowledge of settlement practices and procedures for all domestic and foreign securities: equities, fixed income and derivatives (swaps, options, and futures)
- Knowledge of capital markets and industry practices
- Ability to actively interface with a variety of internal business partners (e.g. portfolio management, trading staff and accounting)
- Work experience in a time sensitive environment
- Independent judgment
- Bloomberg Terminal exposure
- Strong attention to detail
- General knowledge of accounting
- Provide time sensitive communication to portfolio managers, team members, traders, brokers, custodians, and fund accountants
