Staff Engineer:
Our client is seeking a Staff Engineer to join their growing team in Boston. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth platform while providing technical leadership across the engineering organization. You’ll remain highly hands-on, while also mentoring others and shaping the product and technical roadmap at an exciting inflection point in the company’s journey.

What You’ll Do
- Architect, design, and implement scalable systems that power a rapidly expanding platform.
- Remain hands-on in coding, debugging, and reviewing—while guiding best practices across the team.
- Provide technical leadership across pods, mentoring engineers and helping level up the team.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to drive key technical decisions and align roadmap execution with business goals.
- Champion software quality, reliability, and performance at scale through strong engineering practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for architectural improvements and scalability.
- Contribute strategically to the evolution of product features and technical direction.
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of experience as a software engineer, including significant experience building and scaling web applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers while staying close to the code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with complex, evolving challenges.
- Required staff level experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Python.
- Preferred experience with: Tailwind, Django, CI/CD pipelines, PostgreSQL, frontend UI frameworks.
- Proven track record working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and leadership.
