Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their appliance needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate appliances by conducting product demos that highlight features and benefits effectively
- Assist customers with selecting the right products by providing detailed information and upselling where appropriate
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with the latest appliances and accessories
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and credit card payments with professionalism
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-maintained
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in electronics or grocery store environments, demonstrating familiarity with customer service best practices
- Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership skills in managing team members or sales floor activities
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for handling transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills to explain product features clearly and build rapport with customers
- Experience in upselling, merchandising, stock management, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments adds valuable context for customer interactions
