What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychological Associate position at Thrive Therapy Collective?
Thrive Therapy Collective is hiring a registered psychological associate to provide individual, couples, and possibly group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. We are a fee- and insurance- based private practice. All clinicians see both fee-based and insurance-based clients, depending upon contract allowances by insurance companies.
Ideal applicant will have completed their doctoral training and have a strong interest in learning the ins and outs of in private practice. Thrive practices from a primarily psychodynamic perspective and applicants should have a familiarity with this orientation and an interest in learning more.
Must be eligible for registration as a registered psychological associate by the California Board of Psychology.
This is a hybrid position requiring in person direct service hours with the option to add telehealth (This is not a telehealth only position). Primary work location is in La Crescenta. Schedules are flexible and are arranged on an individual basis but do include afternoons and evenings. Candidates must be able to commute to the office at least 2 times per week and be available for group supervision (Mondays at noon) and individual supervision between the hours of 9 and 3. Clinical hours vary but many clients request afternoon and evening hours.
