Role Description
This is a temporary on-site position for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist based in Clarkston, MI with the potential to split in Brighton, MI. The role involves conducting evaluations, creating personalized therapy plans, and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for pediatric and some adult clients. The therapist will work closely with children and their families, focusing on sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, and functional skills to enhance independence and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sensory Integration techniques and Occupational Therapy interventions
- Experience working in Pediatrics and providing Early Intervention services
- Strong ability to connect and work effectively with children and their families
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with valid licensure
- Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
