Location: Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton, Washington
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, or PRN, W-2
Schedule: 10-month school-year contract
Pay: $65,000-$75,000 per school year (full-time) or $38-$52 per hour (part-time/PRN)

Thrive is growing its Washington team and hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to support elementary and middle school students in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton areas.

In this role, you will work alongside Occupational Therapists and school teams to help students strengthen fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, following each student's IEP and treatment plan
• Support student development in fine motor, sensory, self-care, and school participation skills
• Collaborate with teachers on classroom strategies, accommodations, and supports
• Track student progress and complete timely session documentation
• Communicate regularly with the supervising OT regarding student progress and treatment plan updates

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• NBCOT certification (COTA)
• Active Washington occupational therapy assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Ability to pass required background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites

Preferred Experience

• Pediatric experience preferred
• School-based experience preferred
