Immediate need is 6am - 2pm temporarily, but all shifts are open for per diem work.

Thrive is an entrepreneurial and progressive nonprofit human service organization empowering children and adults with developmental disabilities to lead rich, active, and self-directed lives.
We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our residential team.
- We are hiring intermittent positions, fist shift, second shift, and overnight shift, working in our groups home in Marlborough, Shrewsbury and Worcester. Please note if you are interested in overnight intermittent staff.
- Applicants with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis are especially needed.
- Our direct care staff assist residents with their activities of daily living such as showering, dressing, cooking, and cleaning. They also accompany individuals to medical appointments and social activities in the community.
- Support staff also assist individuals with emotion regulation, medical emergencies, and behavioral dysregulation.
- Thrive provides all necessary trainings such as CPR, First Aid, Med Administration (MAP), Human Rights, etc.

Duties:
- Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Feeding clients
- Maintaining patient’s health equipment
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
- Transporting client to appointments
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
