Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in the development and rehabilitation of individuals with physical disabilities, aiming to maximize the functional status of hospitalized patients. The primary responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, as well as participating in discharge planning and performing administrative duties.

• Evaluate patients to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.


• Implement and modify treatment programs based on patient progress and feedback.


• Participate in discharge planning to ensure patients are adequately prepared for transitions.


• Perform administrative duties as required.


• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.


• Pursue professional growth and continuing education opportunities.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM


• Weekend shifts are required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.


• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in Arizona.


• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher is required.

This position is based in an inpatient setting, with a caseload of approximately 6 to 8 patients per day. An EMR documentation system is utilized for patient records.

Guaranteed working hours are 36 per week. Candidates should have the ability to work independently and function effectively in a team environment.
