Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Histotechnician to perform routine histology tasks including embedding, microtomy, immunohistochemistry (IHC), special stains, and digital pathology in an acute care setting with a technical coordinator overseeing laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine histological techniques: embed, microtomy, IHC, and special stains.
• Utilize Epic Beaker LIS for sample tracking and Roche equipment for laboratory procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in a lab environment with any professional scrub color.

Requirements:

• BLS certification required (AHA).
• HT (Histotechnician) or HLT (Histotechnologist) certification through ASCP preferred; candidates without ASCP certification will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred (3 years preferred).
• Associate's degree preferred.
