Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Performance of basic radiographic procedures
• Fluoroscopy and portable radiographic procedures
• C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
• Routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures

Requirements:

• 2 years CT experience
• ARRT Certification (CT Certification not required)
• Experience with Philips and GE scanners
• Ability to perform all types of CT's with and without contrast, CTA's with 3D reconstruction
