Cath Lab Technologist

This position requires experience in a Cath Lab setting, working with patients with various cardiac conditions.

• 2 Cath labs


• 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR labs

• Minimum of 2 years experience with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral cases.


• First-time travelers are welcome if they possess extensive experience in the required areas.

Candidates will be working with patients experiencing:

• Coronary artery disease


• STEMI


• Cardiogenic shock


• Complex total occlusions


• Valvular and renal disease


• Carotid stenosis


• Limb salvage


• Peripheral stenosis and thrombosis disease


• Impella and LVAD insertions

Registered Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1.

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RT or equivalent, or RCIS


• Required Education: AA/AAS Degree

• 2 years minimum experience with coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral procedures


• Capability to perform table movement (panning)


• Ability to recognize and treat arrhythmias


• Critical patient assessment skills

CNA support is not applicable. A charge nurse is available Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1630.

• No floating to other departments required; the Cath Lab and IR are separate.


• Orientation includes 4 days of training with 10-hour shifts.


• Variable shifts primarily consist of 4x10-hour day shifts, with occasional rotations to 3x12-hour night shifts.


• Weekend rotation required every 4th weekend.


• On-call duty is typically 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend.


• Holidays may require coverage, with an expectation of possible duty during one holiday per assignment.


• Any time off requests must be approved through management.

Scrubs will be provided for procedural tasks. Free parking is available for all staff.
