Responsibilities include reviewing insurance programs, preparing quotes and renewal proposals, processing endorsements, certificates, and binders, and coordinating with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms. The role involves responding promptly to client inquiries, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending appropriate solutions to protect client operations and assets. The Account Manager will also support producers with new business opportunities, track key account activities in the agency management system, and ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines, preferably with experience in property and casualty lines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present coverage options clearly and collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Sales or upselling aptitude to identify coverage gaps, cross-sell additional policies, and support producers in expanding client relationships.
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and common office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).
- Relevant state property and casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Prior experience in commercial insurance account management or a similar role is preferred.
