What you'll do:
Are you looking to grow in a restaurant leadership role? Do you have a passion for ensuring shifts are running smoothly and that guest service expectations are being met? If so, this is the job for you! We are Modern Market Eatery – a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
- Continually monitor our food and food quality
- Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
- Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
- Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
- Assist Manager with other duties as needed
What you’ll have:
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required
- Exceptional communication skills
- Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
- Ability to coordinate work of self and others
- Ability to multi-task
What you'll get:
- This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
- This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
