Full-time: M-F 8am - 5pm

Eye Care for Animals, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team in Akron, OH. Practice hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. No weekend hours. Some on-call will be required.
Experience And Skill Requirements
The Veterinary Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Tasks include animal handling, pre and post-operative patient care, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, accurately entering service charges into the client processing database, extensive client interaction, and preparing medications.

- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) REQUIRED
- Previous veterinary technician experience REQUIRED
- Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood work, and IV, IM and SQ injections
- Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and working with various monitoring equipment
- Team player
- Eager to learn and self-motivated
- Enjoys a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with a smile
