Elgin Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Barn Attendant to join our team!

Elgin Veterinary Hospital located in Elgin, TX is an equine and bovine emergency referral and primary care facility that offers the best in medical and surgical treatments. We emphasize exceptional customer service and patient care.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with equine and bovine animals, demonstrating the ability to work around them safely and confidently.
• Previous stall cleaning experience
• Must have a positive "can do" attitude
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional dedication to facility cleanliness
• Must be able to lift 50 Ibs, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the role, with our without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement conditions including but not limited to excessive heat/cold temperatures, raining and icy weather conditions
  
  

Duties include

• Stall cleaning
• General barn cleaning
• Moving hay bales
• Cleaning waterers
• Feeding
