How to assist peers in finding resources for harm reduction, detoxification treatment, family support, and support groups
Teach and support acquisition and utilization of skills needed to sustain recovery from substance use
Responsibilities around maintaining accurate records and notes, confidentiality, and compiling timely reports and the importance of these tasks while providing peer support
How to provide recovery resources to individuals and their family members
How to appropriately advocate for the needs of each individual
Other developmental opportunities may be presented ad-hoc as they arise
