In this exciting role you will help improve, build, implement, maintain, and drive both existing and new processes ultimately leading to greater efficiencies within our culture of loving people and serving landscapes. You will have the opportunity to lead through serving one of our local teams in the greater region of Birmingham, AL, Fort Payne, AL, Huntsville, AL, or Chattanooga, TN as well as other southeast regions we will be expanding to in the coming years. Our intentional first business focus is commercial landscape maintenance and enhancements for those properties with a secondary focus of development and spec home build landscape installs. THRIVE Market Director – Role Requirements

- 5 years of experience as leader within landscape or similar industry
- Ability and desire to teach, coach, nurture, and develop people toward personal growth
- Ability to utilize existing industry leading technology with desire to test and implement new technology as developed
- Possess a valid driver’s license while also being insurable on company’s insurance policy
- Pass a pre-employment and ongoing random drug test
- Meet physical/body position requirements as stated by the Americans with Disabilities Act Section 4.0
- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures throughout the day
THRIVE Market Director - Role and Responsibilities
- Drive operations processes for all divisions in one greater city region
- Lead team and individual training towards improved safety, efficiency, and quality
- Support Thrive Outdoor vision by ensuring processes, policies, and safety/training programs are performed accordingly and are passed along to other associates
- Own profitability through operational excellence with use of daily, weekly, and monthly reports generated through proprietary software
- Lead productions teams to increased productivity and job efficiency including total hours worked by crew and services performed to ensure quality and profitability through departmental scorecards
- Formulate and share strategic and operational objectives
- Ensure daily safety training is conducted including safety inspections prior to dispatching teams, throughout workday, and upon return at end of day
Investigate any accident or safety violation, assist in preparation of appropriate reports, adjust processes to correct and prevent future occurrences. Define and implement solutions to recurring accidents or most common hazards Improve performance and efficiencies to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure all field reporting and records are completed accurately and flow effectively between market and support center
- Assist in the leading of all production team; recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing associates to reach maximum potential
- Maintain team of excellence and capability to exceed production goals and forecasts
- Conduct performance reviews of market associates while coaching toward personal growth
- Oversee inventory of materials, equipment, and other supplies to complete production activities and limit waste
- Oversee quality checks of work sites as needed; lead and coach to improve efficiencies and quality of workmanship while meeting contract specifications
- Own contracts in progress and participate in renewals with goal of 100% retention rates
- Proactively identify issues within production team and work with teams to quickly overcome in limiting impact of issues to both Thrive Outdoor, clients, and community
- Make recommendations regarding qualifying or disqualifying warranty work
- Proficient in or able to learn Aspire, Azuga, Microsoft 365 applications, etc.
