Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Med Spa Director to lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of our high-end medical spa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, operational excellence, and team development within a medical aesthetics or wellness setting. This role is responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, increasing profitability, improving patient experience, and driving overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations to ensure an exceptional patient experience, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Develop and execute a strategic growthplan to increase revenue, expand service offerings, and strengthen Thrive’s position as the leading medical spa in the region.
- Develop, implement, and refine SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) across all departments.
- Optimize operations by streamlining workflows, improving scheduling efficiency, and managing resources for maximum profitability.
- Monitor and manage inventory, scheduling, vendor relationships, and patient flow to maximize efficiency.
-Conduct regular audits of patient consent forms and medical history documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Business Strategy & Performance
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), financial reports, and patient retention metrics to evaluate spa success.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals; develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth through new service lines, cross-promotions, and strategic partnerships.
- Implement and manage software systems for scheduling, AesthetixCRM, and performance analytics.
-Collaborate closely with representatives from Allergan, Galderma, and other key product lines to optimize participation in loyalty programs and leverage promotional opportunities.
Financial Management
- Collaborate with leadership to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze profit margins.
- Forecast revenue, set pricing strategies, and ensure appropriate resource allocation.
- Ensure billing, collections, and financial reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Team Development & Culture
- Lead a high-performing team through recruiting, training, mentoring, and fostering a positive, results-driven culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to foster professional growth and accountability.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-centered culture that values professionalism, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve conflicts and maintain a high-functioning, positive work environment.
Patient Experience & Care Standards
- Ensure the highest standard of patient care and satisfaction across all touchpoints.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical protocols.
- Manage and respond to patient concerns or feedback in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Work closely with medical professionals and aestheticians to ensure seamless, results-driven treatments.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support marketing and outreach efforts, including campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate ROI on paid ads and patient acquisition efforts.
- Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities when appropriate.
-Attend local networking groups, Chamber of Commerce events, and participate in community outreach efforts to build strong relationships and increase brand visibility.
-Partner with the marketing to develop monthly specials that align with the company’s strategic goals and drive business growth.
-Knowledge and strong understanding of skin care products, wellness, injectables, and spa aesthetic treatments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical spa, aesthetics, wellness, or healthcare leadership.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and execute business plans.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of medical aesthetics treatments and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
