A CDL is not required - this is a Delivery Driver non CDL role. You will need to meet the following federal and company requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age (federal minimum for interstate commercial motor vehicle operation)
- Hold a valid, non-commercial driver's license - no CDL required for this vehicle class
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen; remain subject to post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing per company policy
- Maintain a driving record free of disqualifying violations under DOT and company standards
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Be able to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs
In addition to the above, for the DOT- Regulated Position, you must:
- Pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a current medical certificate from an examiner on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (renewed up to every 2 years)
- Complete and maintain a Driver Qualification (DQ) file, including employment application, motor vehicle record, and road test certification per federal requirements
- Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations governing maximum driving and on-duty time
Preferred Qualifications - Delivery Drivers
(Not required - we provide paid training)
- 2 or more years of licensed driving experience
- Prior delivery, box truck, or commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with the Greater Philadelphia, Delaware, or South Jersey region
