Responsibilities
- Operate street sweeping machinery and ground maintenance equipment to remove debris from streets, parking lots, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting identification, and gardening to support overall groundskeeping efforts.
- CDL Required.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for various groundskeeping tasks including hardscape cleaning and minor repairs.
- Support outdoor work activities by maintaining cleanliness of work areas and ensuring proper disposal of debris and waste materials.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, plant identification, lawn care practices, and hardscape upkeep will be advantageous.
- Experience working with irrigation systems and understanding pesticide management procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards is essential.

Pay: $24.16 - $29.09 per hour
