Role Description
Are you a Super Junior Embryologist? Ready to move into a Senior Embryologist role? We are looking for a Super Junior Embryologist to join our team in Oklahoma City.
You will report directly to the Laboratory Manager/ Sr. Embryologist while actively developing technical proficiency in andrology and embryology
Follow laboratory and clinic SOPs as well as comply with all safety policies and standards
Support daily operations within the IVF and andrology / endocrinology laboratories
Engage in hands-on clinical laboratory activities as assigned
Conduct chemistry and andrology laboratory testing when required
Perform and gain expertise in assisted reproductive technologies, including semen processing, oocyte identification, conventional IVF, ICSI, fertilization checks, stripping of cumulus cells for ICSI procedure, embryo grading (Gardner grading), embryo culture and assessment, laser-assisted hatching, trophectoderm biopsy, and cryostorage of sperm, oocytes, and embryos
Ensure precise and timely laboratory documentation
Carry out quality control activities and track key performance indicators
Contribute to the laboratory’s quality assurance and quality management initiatives
Accurately document all patient data in the EMR in accordance with established protocols
Promote a culture of exceptional patient service
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Junior Embryologist
- Experience with sperm preparation, retrievals, cryopreservation (vitrification and warming), and transfer support
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Familiarity with EMR systems and Microsoft 365 preferred
